Moofing is slang for “Mobile Out of Office” and it is how I spend most of my days. I work all over the Northeast as a Design Consultant for large Fortune 500 Enterprises and am rarely stuck behind my desk in a cubicle. I carry a Blackberry and my laptop is equipped with a Verizon air card for high speed internet access. I work everywhere from my car and customer sites to Panera Bread and Starbucks. Moofing has its perks. You don’t have to listen to the same fucking Carrie Underwood song 5 times a day on the office radio, and you get a lot of time to think while speeding down the interstate.

Overall I would say life is pretty damn good. I have a great job that I enjoy and get paid pretty well for. I have a house in the burbs and my wife is a stay at home mom for my two wonderful kids. Everyone is healthy and we enjoy spending time with each other BUT something is missing. This blog is for me to lay out all my feelings (that’s next to impossible for a guy ladies) and try to figure out what that something is all about.
